For what purpose will the DGOJ process your data?
The DGOJ will process data to manage the information provided by natural or legal persons when carrying out any administrative procedure related to the authorization of gambling activities, such as the payment of fees, the granting of licenses, the authorization of occasional gambling, certification authorities, the License Registry, etc.
How long will my data be retained in the DGOJ systems?
The DGOJ will retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected and to determine any potential liabilities that may arise from said purpose and from the processing of the data. The provisions of the regulations on archives and documentation shall apply.
This period shall never exceed four years from the termination of the operator's enabling title, in accordance with the cases set forth in Article 9.5 of Law 13/2011 on Gambling Regulation.
What legitimizes the DGOJ to process your data for the indicated purposes?
The processing of your data is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the DGOJ (Article 6.1(e) of the GDPR), and it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject (Article 6.1(c) of the GDPR) through the following regulations:

The data provided through this form are the strictly necessary minimum to be able to respond to your request. Otherwise, we will be unable to process it.
To which recipients will your data be disclosed?
No transfer or processing of this data by third parties is envisaged. It will only be disclosed to the units of the ministerial department that are competent by reason of the subject matter (Royal Decree 495/2020, of April 28, developing the basic organic structure of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs).
What are your rights when you provide us with your data?
- Any person has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not the DGOJ is processing personal data concerning them.
