The Directorate General for Gambling Regulation online office uses a digital certificate to identify itself to citizens. It has been issued and signed by the Spanish Royal Mint (the FNMT, for its name in Spanish).
To correctly identify the site, your browser must trust the entity as a certificate issuing body. This may require your action as described in this document.
Internet Explorer
If you use one of the latest versions of Internet Explorer and the security updates have been correctly applied, you may not see any notice and, accordingly, you may not have to do anything.
If you have an outdated version of Internet Explorer, you may download and install the following update patch: Update patch for Internet Explorer or install it manually by following these directions.
Open the FNMT page containing root certificates:

and click on the icon next to "FNMT-RCM root certificate". Then, click on "Open":
and click on "Accept" on the window that appears:
Type in the url address of the Directorate General for Gambling Regulation online office and the page will load without a warning.
Return to the FNMT site and repeat the process for the "APE root certificate" at the bottom of the page.

You will have seen a message similar to this one: This connection is not verified
Follow these steps to avoid it:
Open the FNMT page containing root certificates:

and click on the icon next to "FNMT-RCM root certificate":
A window will appear where you must select what use you want the certificate for.
Select all and click on "Accept":
Return to the FNMT site and repeat the process for the "APE root certificate" at the bottom of the page.
Type in the url address of the Directorate General for Gambling Regulation online office and the page will load without a warning.
